Mr. Hitesh Sethia is the Head of Transaction Banking for ICICI Bank Limited since June 2019. In this capacity, he is responsible for the cash management and trade finance business for the bank globally. He is also leading digital initiatives and data analytics initiatives in Wholesale Banking for ICICI Bank.

Prior to this role, Mr. Sethia has worked extensively in various international offices of ICICI Bank, giving him rich experience in strategy, risk management, corporate governance, regulatory and compliance matters. Key positions held over the years include Chief Executive- Hong Kong branch, Head of Corporate Banking – ICICI Bank UK Plc (London) and Country head – Germany. He was also one of the early members involved in the setup of the retail and direct banking business for the Canadian subsidiary of the Bank. The functional areas of expertise in these international locations included market scoping, solution building and execution in both retail and corporate banking focused on trade flows, capital flows and remittance flows between India and the respective international geographies.

Mr. Sethia joined the ICICI Group in the year 2000. He is a Chartered Accountant and has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is also an alumni of Harvard Business School.

Shekhar Bhandari is President of Global Transaction Banking at Kotak Mahindra Bank.
