Betty Kildow FBCI, CBCP, is principal of Kildow Consulting where for more than 20 years widely diverse companies and organizations have benefited from her expertise and real-world approach to addressing the challenges in developing and maintaining a robust Business Continuity and Resilience capability. A Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) with the Disaster Recovery Institute International since 1998, she was named a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute (FBCI) in 2002. Kildow is an ISO 22301 certified Master. She has been an adjunct instructor at UC Berkeley and Massachusetts Maritime Academy. A strong proponent of including the supply chain in continuity planning, she is author of A Supply Chain Management Guide to Business Continuity published by AMACOM and in Japanese by President「事業継続」のためのサプライチェーン・マネジメント. She is a member of the Business Continuity Journal’s Peer Review Panel and past board member of the Institute for Supply Management Risk Management Group. She is a graduate with distinction of the University of California, Berkeley’s Emergency Preparedness, Planning, and Management Program.
